Our latest project has been kept in secret since the beginning of the year. Our team of yoyo players and artists joined forces to create a high performance metal yoyo. The result is the yoyo called Glitch, a magnificent piece of minimalist design.

The project was directed by industrial designer Mario Troise with collaboration from Doc Pop, Iklódi Tamás, Justin Weber, Edy Kauan and Caie Perez. The initial sketches were reviewed by the players who opted for a small and well balanced yoyo.

Each player received a prototype and tested it for a couple of weeks. After extensive tests they came up with a final design. The yoyo went in production while they finished designing the packaging, logo and graphics.
The Glitch is produced with precision aluminum anodized with an intense black texture. The metal is cut in custom blocks to avoid loss of material. Each yoyo is tested and packaged in a velvet bag to protect the surface.
The final challenge of the project was to define a sustainable packaging for the yoyo. The Glitch is packaged in metal tins. Not only the tins are useful and double as a case for the yoyo, but they are also recyclable.

Although the project has been going on for a couple of months the best part is just starting. For the people involved in the creation of the yoyo it is an honor to see a sketch come to life.
The Glitch is in stock and shipping.
